During the Covid19-crisis the Bureau and Conference of Presidents have been briefed in joint sessions by the Government. Under the current rules of procedure of Parliament those meeting minutes would be restricted.
After many discussions among the people concerned, Sven proposed to allow the Bureau and Conference of Presidents to decide themselves on the publicity of their minutes. This would not only increase transparency in general, a core issue for the Pirate Party, but also allow for historians to analyze this special time in Luxembourgish politics more in detail.
The draft has been amended by the committee on May 5th and will be put to a vote the week after.
