Hi, I’m Sven and I’m a member of parliament and tech entrepreneur

I have been a Member of Luxembourg's Chamber of Deputies for the Centre constituency since 2018 and was re-elected in 2023. I preside over the Pirate parliamentary group and the Committee for the Verification of Powers. My work focuses on a digital state that actually works, privacy and access to public documents, and on holding the government to account through written parliamentary questions: 1,279 since 2018, grouped into the dossiers I keep following up. In 2009, aged 20, I co-founded the Pirate Party Luxembourg and led it as president for almost ten years, into Parliament in 2018.

Internationally, I chair the Board of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank & IMF (2025–2027), where I previously co-chaired the Global Young MP Initiative, and I sit on the UN Development Cooperation Forum Advisory Group. As a rapporteur of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly's Science and Technology Committee I have written seven reports since 2021, on topics from biological threats and artificial intelligence to uncrewed warfare and defence innovation.

I'm also an entrepreneur. I co-founded taxx.lu to make Luxembourg's tax return simple: its customers claimed more than €100M in tax savings, and atHome Group acquired it in 2024. As CEO of AccountTech I also built salary.lu, Luxembourg's first self-service payroll tool. In 2026 I founded Nova Lux Orbital, a shared AI compute cloud in orbit that lets Earth-observation operators process their data next to their satellites, on European hardware. I studied Information Systems at Saarland University and hold an Executive MBA from Quantic and a Professional Development Certificate in Parliamentary Governance from McGill University.
